When the premise finally hit him (genetically engineered dinosaurs ), Crichton wondered who would pay for it ? Crichton says " all I could think of was entertainment, use it as a tourist attraction, which implies a park where people would go and see it ". In 'Jurassic Park', Crichton wanted to raise the question about science and responsibility, and the limits of control, and what they might be. Crichton wrote his novel, and it was released in 1990, instantly becoming a world-wide best-seller. Then, in 1995, Crichton released his first sequel novel 'The Lost World'.
